MailChimp, an email service used by over 3 million people, needed a scalable way to introduce new features and educate users without bogging them down in long, confusing tutorials. Joshua Rosenbaum, MailChimp’s video producer, was tasked with creating short, clear “Show Me” screencasts and promotional videos that live inside the app and on marketing pages.

Joshua uses a scripted, voice‑first process—recording voiceovers in a soundbooth, building a soundtrack, then capturing and editing in ScreenFlow while supplementing with After Effects, Photoshop, GarageBand and Final Cut when needed. ScreenFlow’s speed, simplicity and export tools let him produce polished H.264 videos quickly; the result is snappy, easy‑to‑follow tutorials embedded across the product and site that improve user education and feature adoption.
