M6, a leading French broadcaster, needed to automate complex media workflows while protecting valuable content and keeping systems simple for creative teams. Their challenge was to balance speed, efficiency, cost control and data security across multi‑tier storage and many production systems.

They implemented Telestream DIVA and Vantage as the backbone of their media infrastructure: DIVA manages Isilon online and LTO tape storage (including frame‑accurate partial restores) and integrates with Avid, MBT Sphere and Vantage, while Vantage automates ingest, transcoding, delivery and edit workflows. The result is a fully automated, reliable pipeline that processes virtually all M6 media, reduces labor and storage costs, and provided critical data isolation that kept channels on air during a 2019 ransomware attack.
