A Telestream Case Study
Cleveland Middle School’s student-produced RaiderTV is a daily morning live news program that serves about 1,300 students and staff (plus dozens of families after hours) and gives 8th‑grade students real-world media and leadership experience. Early attempts to stream the show failed: prior solutions were unreliable, consumed too many system resources, suffered audio/video sync issues, and produced heavy pixilation on high-motion content, degrading production quality.
The school adopted Telestream Wirecast for live production, gaining stable streams, easy operation for students, and the ability to use sophisticated on‑air graphics without costly hardware. As a result RaiderTV’s production value and student engagement have increased, awareness of school events and extracurriculars has improved, on-demand archives are available, and the daily broadcast has helped unify the school and boost school pride.
