A Telestream Case Study
Central Moravian Church, a historic congregation in Bethlehem, PA, needed to modernize its AV systems while preserving the sanctuary’s aesthetics. The building’s size required long‑reach optics and concealed cabling, and the church’s previous setup—just a few webcams and a laptop—couldn’t reliably handle multiple video inputs or avoid time‑consuming setup and teardown for each service.
An AV integration delivered a permanent solution using Wirecast Gear with Wirecast Pro, four PTZOptics PT-30X-NDI cameras over PoE, an X-keys control surface, a PTZ joystick and a managed PoE switch. The cameras capture head‑and‑shoulder shots from up to 75 feet, enabling multi‑camera productions, remote callers and special events without daily teardown; the upgrade has expanded reach (viewers as far away as Korea and Nepal) and made streaming services more engaging and flexible.
