Tough Mudder turned to Telescope to help stream its 2017 World Championship obstacle course on Facebook Watch and engage fans who could not attend in person. The company used Telescope’s Facebook Live Streaming, Content to Air, and Social Vote products to bring the event to at-home viewers and encourage interaction during the broadcast.

Telescope enabled viewers to comment on Facebook, have selected questions and opinions aired on screen, and participate in 21 hashtag-based polls integrated through Tough Mudder’s graphics system via the Display API. The live stream generated 579k views, 15k reactions, 1.5k comments, and 507 shares, showing strong fan engagement for the Tough Mudder World Championship broadcast.
