Teen Choice Awards partnered with Telescope to boost engagement during the live Teen Choice Awards 2018 broadcast, including red carpet coverage. The challenge was to give fans a fast, interactive way to participate in real time as codes were announced on air and via Instagram, using Telescope’s Easy Sweeps and Custom Play-Along Hub.
Telescope built a live sweepstakes experience where 13 different codes unlocked short-time-entry mini sweepstakes, allowing fans to submit the active code and their email for a chance to win prizes of their choosing. The result was a real-time, on-air and social engagement campaign that drove viewer participation throughout the show, with fans able to enter up to one prize in each of the 13 giveaways.
