A Telescope Case Study

Preview of the Oscars Case Study

The Oscars invited fans everywhere to become the judge of their two newest prestigious honors leveraging Telescope's voting, sweepstakes and content creation services

Telescope worked with Oscars to give fans a bigger role in the Academy Awards by letting them help choose two new honors, Fan Favorite and Cheer Moment. The challenge was to create an easy, engaging way for a massive audience to vote, submit content, and participate in sweepstakes tied to the broadcast.

Using Telescope’s write-in voting, UGC uploader, Fan Feed, and Virtual Event Hub capabilities, the team built a centralized campaign hub with online and Twitter-based voting, fan submissions, and prize-driven sweepstakes entries. The result was a high-volume, multi-phase fan engagement experience that increased participation, encouraged repeat voting throughout the campaign, and helped drive excitement around the Oscars ceremony.
