Vogue wanted to bring the Met Gala’s red-carpet experience to at-home audiences and extend the reach of fashion’s biggest night beyond the venue. Telescope supported the effort with full production services, Twitter Media Studio, and content-to-air capabilities for Vogue’s Met Gala live stream.
Telescope produced and directed the live stream on-site in New York, streaming the Met Gala red carpet to Vogue’s Twitter and website with custom graphics, fan tweets, and live poll results to drive engagement. The campaign generated 39.9 million minutes watched, 12.9 million views, 5.75 million viewers, and 212,000 concurrent viewers, while #MetGala trended throughout the night.
