BBC used Telescope’s Campaign Manager and Custom Online Vote tools to run an online vote for Strictly Come Dancing, its flagship Saturday night live competition show. The challenge was to create a seamless, customizable voting experience that could handle high engagement, support social sharing, and fit into BBC’s existing live-show and SSO environment.

Telescope implemented a flexible, GDPR-conscious voting framework embedded directly into Strictly Come Dancing, with real-time data capture, API integration, built-in analytics, and the ability to update contestants dynamically.
