Nickelodeon's Kids Pick the President Online interactive hub with UGC upload, vote, and printable digital swag

Nickelodeon partnered with Telescope to create “Kids Pick the President,” a two-month interactive campaign designed to answer kids’ questions about the 2016 U.S. election, keep them informed on the issues, and let them share their voices through a digital experience. Telescope used a custom play-along hub with tools like Inquizator, Meme Generator, Standard Vote, UGC, and Fan Feed to make the experience educational and engaging.

Telescope built a phased interactive hub featuring custom word clouds, heat maps, moderated fan questions, quizzes, meme creation, and a daily vote leading up to a live on-air reveal. The campaign drove strong participation and earned an Emmy nomination in 2017 for Outstanding Interactive Original Content (Daytime), highlighting the impact of Telescope’s work for Nickelodeon.
