Spotify worked with Telescope to create its first-ever live stream event as a unique promotion for Khalid’s album Free Spirit. The goal was to engage fans in a new way and support the album release through a fully produced live experience and supporting social content, using Telescope’s full production services, Facebook Live streaming, and Live Studio.
Telescope produced and streamed the rooftop concert in Downtown LA, captured behind-the-scenes and interview content, and built a distribution plan for social platforms like Instagram and Facebook. The campaign delivered strong results, including 687,800 views on Khalid’s Facebook page, more than 13,000 reactions, and 140,000 views across Facebook and Twitter for social video content, while also helping drive over 1 billion Spotify streams and a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 for Free Spirit.
