Discovery's Shark Week "Sharkopedia" Trivia Game and Leaderboard

Discovery wanted to build excitement around Shark Week 28 and increase tune-in with an interactive fan experience that would also encourage social sharing and sweepstakes participation. Telescope created Sharkopedia Trivia using its InQuizator and Triple Play products, giving fans a shark-themed quiz they could play on Discovery’s site for a chance to enter a daily sweepstakes and share their scores.

Telescope’s solution combined daily trivia with a real-time leaderboard, letting users challenge friends and even invite new participants to join. The campaign drove fan engagement, social buzz, and broader participation around Shark Week, helping Discovery maximize reach and excitement through a playful second-screen experience.
