Discovery used Telescope’s uPic product to support the Racing Extinction campaign and encourage at-home viewers to participate in #StartWith1Thing. The challenge was to create an engaging way for audiences around the world to pledge one habit change that could help combat climate change and spread awareness across social platforms.
Telescope implemented a seamless UGC experience where users uploaded a photo, applied an environment-themed custom filter, and submitted their personal pledge in one flow. The submissions were displayed in an interactive gallery with sharing options, helping catapult social conversations about #StartWith1Thing and generating over 6,500 pledges and more than 2,000 Facebook shares.
