Telescope partnered with HBO on Project Greenlight as the series prepared to launch a new season. HBO needed a way to generate excitement, engage filmmakers and fans, and run a multi-phase contest that could collect video entries and public input using an integrated uploader and voting experience.

Telescope built a custom Facebook-connected application with a video uploader, entry form, and multi-stage voting flow that let filmmakers submit short films, peer judges rate entries across multiple categories, and fans help narrow the field through tiered public voting. The campaign moved from video submissions to judging to bio-video follow-ups for top entrants, ultimately helping select a filmmaker for a Top 10 spot on the show and creating social buzz around the premiere.
