Chips Ahoy! partnered with Telescope to create the #SweetestPromEver live stream, a virtual prom experience for teenagers who could not attend prom because of COVID-19. Using Telescope’s full remote production services along with Connect Live, Twitter Media Studio, and YouTube Studio, the brand set out to deliver a memorable, interactive event with celebrity DJ Steve Aoki.
Telescope managed the full remote production, sent a production kit to Steve Aoki’s home, and coordinated a private Zoom room for sweepstakes winners while also creating custom graphics and green-screen animations for the broadcast. The live stream ran across Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, generating 817.3K Twitter impressions, 240K+ Twitter views, and 2.75K hashtag tweets, helping Chips Ahoy! reward hundreds of teens with a one-of-a-kind prom experience.
