Buzzr partnered with Telescope to create a new way for at-home viewers to engage with its classic game-show programming during an unprecedented time. The challenge was to turn around-the-clock TV viewing into an interactive, repeatable experience that could keep fans watching and participating during specific programming blocks.
Using Telescope’s BINGO product, Buzzr launched a play-along bingo game and instant-win sweepstakes tied to moments from its shows rather than numbers. Viewers logged in with an email address, received a personal card, and played along while watching, with multiple daily winners and a grand prize sweepstakes encouraging repeat visits; results showed that more than half of users returned to play again and average time on site was about 20 minutes.
