Tyler Robinson Foundation, the nonprofit founded by members of Imagine Dragons to support families dealing with pediatric cancer, wanted to expand its annual fundraising efforts and reach a wider audience. It partnered with Telescope and used Telescope’s Live Studio platform to stream a live acoustic performance by Imagine Dragons on Facebook.
Telescope delivered a Facebook Live broadcast with custom on-screen fundraising graphics and Facebook Donate integration to encourage real-time giving and sharing. The campaign generated 1.3 million views, reached 6,042,000 people, and attracted 965,548 unique viewers, while also earning recognition as a 2016 Shorty Social Good Awards finalist.
