Asia’s Got Talent, the “World’s Biggest Talent Show,” needed a better way to handle its complex voting requirements across 26 regions and 6 languages for its second season. Telescope used its Facebook Messenger and Social Vote products to create a more seamless, mobile-friendly voting experience for fans during the live shows.
Telescope customized a Messenger bot and hashtag voting system with language selection, GPS-based location verification, weekly contestant updates, and Facebook Broadcast API reminders. The campaign delivered major results, including 290 million impressions, 26 million video views, 2.5 million engagements, and a 24% increase in the Facebook community, while AXN also saw a 28% rise in prime-time channel ratings in Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore.
