Applebee’s worked with Telescope to build excitement for its new Neighborhood Drinks specials and drive more people into stores, especially among a millennial audience. Using Telescope’s Connect Live and Facebook Live Streaming products, Applebee’s set out to create an engaging digital experience centered on its Dollar Zombie cocktail promotion.
Telescope delivered an 8-hour Facebook Live giveaway built around Halloween-themed riddles, cash prizes, and interactive graphics, complete with a live countdown timer and moderation to validate winners. The campaign generated more than 100,000 views and nearly 100,000 engagements, with around 9,100 unique commenters, an average of 9.4 comments per commenter, and 88% positive sentiment.
