Allstate partnered with Telescope to boost fan excitement and in-stadium engagement during the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup after the tournament returned from its COVID-related postponement. Working with agency Octagon, Allstate looked for a way to connect with loyal fans in the stands through an interactive experience using Telescope’s InQuizator, Scratcher, and SMS/text-messaging tools.
Telescope powered a halftime trivia challenge and digital sweepstakes that prompted fans to text in, register, answer three trivia questions, and then scratch for an instant chance to win a $50 gift card. Telescope also handled SMS bounce-back and prize delivery to winners, helping create a real-time, mobile-first fan experience, though the case study did not provide specific quantitative results.
