ABC's Dancing with the Stars puts the power into America's hands by utilizing our Passion Meter play-along product to crown winners of the live dance offs

ABC turned to Telescope to give Dancing with the Stars fans a more interactive way to engage with the live show and help influence the outcome of each dance-off. Using Telescope’s Passion Meter play-along product, the production team aimed to turn at-home viewers into active participants during the competition.

Telescope implemented a real-time Passion Meter experience on ABC’s landing page, allowing fans to vote for their favorite couples while live results were displayed on a 30-foot LED backdrop behind the dancers and on meters on the dance floor. The solution created immediate feedback and a more immersive viewing experience for fans in-studio and at home, though the case study does not provide specific numerical performance results.
