Telescope helped Mean Girls Broadway and Paramount find a new way to engage fans, raise awareness, and celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Mean Girls movie and Broadway musical. Using Facebook Live Streaming, full production services, a live studio setup, and a social sweepstakes, they aimed to bring movie and musical fans together for a live #MeanGirlsDay experience.
Telescope produced a Facebook Live viewing party hosted by Tina Fey and Busy Philipps, with custom graphics, trivia, polls, comments-to-air, and sweepstakes prizes to drive participation. The campaign trended on Twitter for 12 hours, generated 466K total Facebook Live views and reached 1.1M people in 24 hours, and helped Mean Girls Broadway record its highest traffic since opening. It also drove 6.2M+ impressions, 220K engagements, 27.9K sweepstakes entries in three days, 28K new email subscribers, and about 10K combined follower growth.
