Michigan Colleges Online completes registration service in less than nine months with Telerik

Michigan Colleges Online (MCO), an initiative of the Michigan Community College Association, needed to create a complex 3-tiered web service for registration, data services, and administration. The challenge was to build a system with an intuitive user interface capable of handling sophisticated back-end workflows. They turned to Progress Telerik for a solution using the Kendo UI framework.

The solution implemented using Telerik's Kendo UI framework utilized its robust Grid tool and widgets to build complex workflows and a rich user interface. As a result, Progress Telerik enabled fast development and high-quality defect management, allowing the site to be completed in under nine months. The service is now used by approximately 185 administrators on the back-end and thousands of students on the front-end.
