Stanford Med Uses Digital Signage To Engage Students

Stanford School of Medicine installed TelemetryTV in 2016 to centralize communication across its large campus. Facing fragmented channels (email, websites, social) and admin‑intensive, error‑prone printed room schedules, Stanford needed an affordable, easy‑to‑use, scalable digital signage solution that could display real‑time events, room availability and emergency notices while fitting into their busy IT environment.

TelemetryTV provided a cloud‑based digital signage platform integrated with the Chrome ecosystem and deployed on dozens of screens across campus. TelemetryTV’s solution enabled automatic provisioning via Chrome Device Manager, remote administration, easy content upload, reduced administrative and IT burden, and delivered centralized, real‑time notices and room information—modernizing the campus and increasing productivity with minimal support required.
