CYCLELAB chooses MediaContact for its e-commerce kiosks

CYCLELAB, the group behind the CULTURE VELO, BOUTI CYCLE and Vélo Station bike retail chains, wanted to digitize its physical stores and promote its online shop in a way that would remain easy for customers and secure for headquarters to manage. To do this, it looked for a kiosk solution that could run on large touchscreen tablets, connect to store networks, and be centrally controlled. Telelogos provided MediaContact to meet those needs.

Telelogos implemented MediaContact on 21-inch Android HP tablets, enabling 5IVE, CYCLELAB’s IT subsidiary, to remotely manage allowed apps, block access to system settings, and update content and catalogs from headquarters. The kiosks helped drive customers to the online store, supported in-store sales and click-and-mortar shopping, and gave members a differentiated service in the bicycle market. The case study also notes improved SEO for the online store and centralized, transparent management across the network.
