WIOCC, a connectivity provider serving Africa, needed a reliable European hub to extend its Equiano cable investment and deliver faster, higher-quality connections between London, Nigeria, and South Africa. To support this growth, WIOCC worked with Telehouse and its carrier-neutral data centre services to strengthen its network reach and operational resilience.

Telehouse enabled WIOCC to extend Equiano into its facility, helping WIOCC offer high-scale, high-speed connectivity backed by strong physical security and flexible engineer access. The results include connectivity of over 150 terabits and improved service reliability, with projected internet speeds in Nigeria increasing fivefold and almost tripling in South Africa by 2025. The partnership has been successful enough that WIOCC plans to increase rack capacity further with Telehouse.
