Case Study: Amito achieves a market-leading London presence and high-capacity connectivity with Telehouse

Amito, a Reading-based cloud, colocation and connectivity specialist serving small and medium-sized clients (including 45 LINX members), needed cost-effective rack space and a London point of presence for customers that often start with quarter racks and grow over time. To meet that need Amito selected Telehouse for colocation services in the London Docklands, choosing a partner with the connectivity, scale and stability to support its expansion.

Telehouse provided quarter-rack colocation across its Docklands campus, enabling Amito to grow to as many as 80 racks across four Telehouse data centres and become a major cross-connect user. Amito invested £2.5m in a London network upgrade and built a dark‑fibre ring to Telehouse, delivering up to 16 Tb/s per route and latency under 1.2 ms to Amito Reading; the result was new domestic and international customers, seamless dual-site deployments and a strengthened market position—with Telehouse continuing to refer small clients to Amito.
