A Telarus Case Study
ZCS Enterprises, a 60-employee service industry company, needed to increase bandwidth, add redundant internet for failover, and protect an upcoming move away from its hosted PBX and hosted contact center services without increasing costs. Telarus helped evaluate the customer’s short- and long-term needs, including alternate managed PBX and hosted call center options, while preserving flexibility for future VoIP changes.
Telarus implemented a Big Leaf SDN solution alongside a 100 MB Time Warner Business Class dedicated fiber circuit and a 50 MB symmetrical U-verse circuit for diverse redundancy. This gave ZCS Enterprises managed same-IP failover, dynamic QoS, intelligent load balancing, and a platform that supports future BYOB SIP needs; the company moved from 60 MB to 100 MB bandwidth, shifted from wireless to wired connectivity, and did so for only about $200 more per month.
