Sling TV, America’s number one over-the-top live TV streaming service, wanted to deliver a premium advertising experience during live sports in CTV while reaching cord-cutters with brand-safe, measurable inventory. To meet this challenge, Sling TV worked with Telaria and its Video Management Platform for live TV and programmatic ad delivery.

Telaria created private marketplace deals with day-parts and live sports targeting, using CTV features like enhanced ad pods and audio creative review to replicate a broadcast-quality experience. The partnership drove a 51% rise in programmatic ad sales for Sling TV during the 2017 NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament, and by 2018 programmatic ad sales were 10.5x higher than in 2017.
