DS Energy saves 38,000 euros a year with TEKTELIC

The customer, DS Energy, is a provider of energy management solutions facing industry-wide challenges of rising energy costs and inefficient, manual monitoring systems for its diverse clients. Partnering with vendor TEKTELIC, they sought a solution to collect detailed, real-time energy consumption data to help their clients reduce usage and costs.

TEKTELIC implemented its LoRaWAN® network using KONA Micro and KONA Macro IoT Gateways to provide DS Energy with a stable, long-range network for data transmission from smart sensors. This solution provided clients with detailed data on various energy parameters, leading to average consumption savings of 10-20%. In one specific case, an industrial client achieved annual savings of 90,000 kWh and approximately €38,000 after the system identified a major source of energy waste.
