TEKLYNX CENTRAL CFR Drives Efficiency, Increases Accuracy and Simplifies UDI Compliance for Quality Tech Services

QTS, a medical device packaging and outsourcing provider, was outgrowing its existing labeling process as product lines expanded and label requirements became more complex. Managing more than 900 active templates across multiple workstations created manual effort, limited change control, and added risk of errors, while new UDI and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements made a system upgrade urgent. QTS turned to TEKLYNX and its LABEL MATRIX software history as it prepared to move to a more centralized enterprise labeling platform.

TEKLYNX implemented TEKLYNX CENTRAL CFR, integrated with QTS’ ERP system and supported through Coridian Technologies, to centralize label management, reduce manual entry, and simplify validation and UDI compliance. The new system eliminated 100% of manual entry at print time, reduced barcode scanning, improved change control and security, and increased efficiency by 40%, helping QTS save over 400 hours during label conversions and get products to market faster.
