A Global Biotechnology Company Transitioned from Disparate Labeling Systems to Centrally Managing Labels for 15,000 Products with a Single Solution

bioMérieux, a multinational biotechnology and medical device company, needed to replace a collection of disparate labeling systems that made training, updates, consistency, and compliance difficult across its global operations. With more than 15,000 products, over 400 users, and 300+ product, shipping, and inventory labels to manage, the company turned to TEKLYNX and its TEKLYNX CENTRAL solution to address low label quality, manual errors, and GS1 and UDI compliance issues.

TEKLYNX, working with partner Eticoncept, implemented a centralized, browser-based label management system integrated with SAP ECC and compatible with bioMérieux’s many printers. As a result, bioMérieux improved labeling accuracy and security, achieved consistent GS1 and UDI-compliant labels 100% of the time, met CFR and UDI requirements including 21 CFR Part 11, reduced errors, and streamlined management of hundreds of labels for greater efficiency and future growth.
