Migrate from QAD to SAP S4 HANA with the existing Tableau Dashboards

TekLink worked with Global Healthcare Company, a global healthcare manufacturer in the medical devices industry, to replace its QAD ERP with SAP S/4HANA while keeping its existing Tableau dashboards and semantic layer. The company needed to synchronize master data across QAD and SAP, migrate open orders, consolidate historical and current data, and support data validation during testing.

TekLink implemented an Azure Synapse-based data warehouse and Azure Data Factory integration to blend QAD and SAP data, create field mappings, and build a unified data model for sales and financial reporting. TekLink also translated SAP business partner names to match QAD and swapped in the new model behind the existing Tableau reports, delivering a low-maintenance platform with consolidated data, reusable dashboards, and a consistent foundation for future analytics initiatives and additional SAP tables.
