Migrate BW on HANA database to resolve performance issues, and improve time to process and analyze data

TekLink worked with Global Access Solutions and Product Services Company, a global leader in access solutions and products, to address slow end-user reports, slow BW data loading as data volumes grew, and insecure report access in their SAP environment. The customer needed to improve performance and strengthen security for reporting and analytics.

TekLink migrated the client from BW 7.4 on MSSQL to BW 7.5 on HANA using SUM DMO, sized and built the BW on HANA landscape for development, QA, and production, and implemented HA/DR, secure certificates, Windows AD authentication, and HANA optimization. TekLink also upgraded SAP BPC, completed performance fine-tuning, and set up replication and fault-tolerant high availability, resulting in faster query response and data processing, improved load and query performance, reduced HANA memory footprint, and secure SAP system communication.
