TekLink worked with a large American multinational food-manufacturing company producing cereal and convenience foods, which had over 32,000 employees worldwide. The customer needed to address inconsistent promotion planning performance and improve visibility into trade promotion effectiveness and spend with clear KPI guidelines and checks.

TekLink implemented the world’s first TPM on HANA project, migrating SAP BPS-TPM to SAP ATPM on HANA for the customer’s North American business. The solution improved live reporting performance, simplified promotion planning, enabled day-level planning and mod-ship scenarios, added custom sales volume planning with Integrated Planning and Design Studio/Lumira, and introduced post-event analysis dashboards; as a result, the customer saw better usability and tool adoption, improved data accuracy, stronger online checks and alerts, enhanced SCM integration, and higher productivity and decision-making for sales leaders and KAMs.
