Improving Consolidation Process for a Global Pharmaceutical Company

TekLink worked with a global biopharmaceutical company to improve its SAP BPC consolidation process. The customer needed to replace manual report design and validation steps, support dynamic data loads from multiple source systems, simplify new acquisition handling, and improve statutory reporting for international standards.

TekLink enhanced the existing SAP BPC environment by automating data load, currency conversion, IC matching, and consolidation processes, while also adding reconciliation reports, stronger work status controls, and a framework for IFRS, GAAP, and Non-GAAP reporting. The result was reduced manual effort across monthly, quarterly, and yearly cycles, conflict-free loads and journal postings, improved auditability, and better support for year-end activities and ongoing process changes.
