TekLink worked with a leading global provider of innovative packaging materials and packaging systems, a manufacturer that needed a better way to track and report production and distribution activity. Their existing process was manual and time-consuming, with data coming from multiple source systems, delayed results, and redundant insights, making it difficult to get timely visibility into machine inventory and production metrics.

TekLink implemented a solution on S/4HANA using HANA Views, SDI Replications, and SAC dashboards, along with custom HANA calculation views for inventory trends, material movements, production costs, AOP forecasts, and related KPIs. The approach separated machine and accessory materials, added a custom process for updating new materials, and delivered an integrated view of capital dashboards and production/inventory KPIs. TekLink’s solution improved report performance by 100%, reduced manual effort, improved reporting accuracy, and enabled self-service reporting and analysis.
