Deploying a Large SAP Analytics Migration to the Azure Cloud

TekLink helped a global retail chain and consumer package goods manufacturer migrate its large SAP HANA analytics footprint to the Azure cloud. The client needed to lower costly SAP HANA storage fees while maintaining high availability, reliability, redundancy for business continuity, and performance that matched or exceeded its existing BI landscape.

TekLink designed the technical architecture and migration plan using Microsoft Azure services, including Azure virtual machines, ARM templates, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Site Recovery, SAP HANA replication, SQL Always On, and SLES Pacemaker. The result was a successful migration with improved performance and significantly lower data storage costs, along with easier high availability and disaster recovery setup, reduced infrastructure overhead, and low-cost DR services.
