TekLink helped one of the largest American multinational food-manufacturing companies, a retail and CPG organization, address the challenge of moving its SAP BI/BOBJ application from on-premise hosting to the cloud while upgrading from SAP BI 4.1 SP5 to BI 4.2 SP5 to reduce infrastructure costs and support a modern user environment.

TekLink handled the full migration and upgrade, including landscape assessment, AWS sizing, new BOBJ environment setup, content migration, security and SSO configuration, load balancing, testing, and job migration. The result was a successful move to AWS with lower infrastructure maintenance costs, plus compatibility with Office 2016, Windows 10, and Excel 64-bit, enabling continued access for users on the updated platform.
