TekLink worked with an American multinational financial services company with more than $50 billion in assets under management to improve its workforce planning process in Anaplan. The client needed better handling of organizational exits, a new way to account for campus recruitment, and a fix to keep planned headcount aligned with the budget received by the Finance team.
TekLink built an Attrition Allocation System in Anaplan to collect business inputs, allocate them by month and department, round values to whole numbers, and distribute any remainder to the departments with the highest headcount. TekLink also removed outdated functionality to streamline the model, which reduced model size and improved performance, synchronized headcount extracts to Tableau and other Finance Anaplan models, reduced reconciliation time for Finance, and improved reporting accuracy and campus recruitment planning.
