St. Louis University Expedites Implementation of Tegrity to Meet Growing Demand

Saint Louis University, a 194-year-old Jesuit institution serving more than 13,000 students, needed a scalable, easy-to-use lecture capture system that could be deployed across its 275 classrooms and used by faculty from offices or personal devices to create supplemental content. After a thorough evaluation, SLU sought a solution that supported searchable indexing, mobile access, and faculty-friendly workflows to support growing demand and new teaching models.

SLU chose Tegrity Campus, a cloud-based lecture capture platform; in the first semester it was installed in 75 classrooms, captured 2,100 lecture hours and generated 133,000 views with an average view time of 27.5 minutes. Tegrity’s full-text indexing, mobile playback and ease of use accelerated adoption of flipped and learner-centered classroom models, improved access for multilingual and remote students, and even enabled a seriously ill student to stay on track and graduate on time.
