NWFSC gets creative with Tegrity Campus to better serve its global student body and local community

Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) serves over 20,000 students across multiple campuses, including many non‑traditional learners—active military, study‑abroad students, and commuters—with roughly one‑third of courses offered online or as hybrids. The college needed an easy‑to‑use lecture capture solution to extend its learning management system, improve accessibility for geographically dispersed students, and minimize faculty training time.

NWFSC adopted Tegrity Campus for its automated workflow, robust search, bookmarking and note‑taking features, and quick deployment. Today more than half the faculty use Tegrity—some for every session—powering distance learning in a region with limited public transit, enabling brief course preview videos to reduce enrollment remorse, and hosting public‑safety tutorials for local agencies, thereby expanding access, engagement and practical community training.
