A Tegrity Case Study
Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, a 450‑student law school in Raleigh, faced declining classroom engagement as students focused on transcribing lectures on laptops and legal pads. Professor William “Woody” Woodruff sought a way to shift class time from note‑taking to analysis and discussion so students would learn to think like lawyers rather than stenographers.
He adopted McGraw‑Hill Tegrity Campus for its simple interface, search/bookmark/note features and the ability to record and post lectures from anywhere, enabling pre‑class review and more interactive class time. After six years Woodruff has recorded every class, every Law School classroom now has Tegrity cameras, student demand has driven roll‑out into other colleges on campus, and instructors report stronger participation and deeper analytical thinking in class.
