SolderStick scales 9 PMax campaigns with Tegra and blocks $285 in wasted spend

SolderStick, a DIY electrical tool brand, faced a challenge when expanding into new product lines. They needed to scale three distinct tool lines—wire connectors, socket wrenches, and wire strippers—each with different ROAS curves and audience overlap, without the campaigns cannibalizing each other. Their Google Ads were also wasting spend on irrelevant crossover search queries. They engaged Tegra to implement a solution.

Tegra designed and executed a pocket-coded PMax architecture, creating isolated campaign pockets for each product line to prevent cross-line cannibalization. They built five presell pages around a "no soldering iron needed" angle and incorporated creator endorsements into ad copy. This strategy allowed SolderStick to successfully launch three product lines in one quarter. Tegra's solution also auto-negated $285 in wasted spend, freeing up budget for high-intent queries and establishing a reusable scaling pattern for the brand.
