Truck Bodies & Equipment International (TBEI), a Minnesota-based manufacturer of truck bodies and equipment, needed to replace an aging Compellent storage system that was running out of capacity and no longer under support. TBEI worked with Tegile and chose Tegile Intelligent Flash Arrays to support mission-critical ERP, SQL Server, Exchange, and manufacturing applications while giving the company room to grow.
Tegile implemented a three-stage migration to the Tegile Hybrid Storage Array, moving TBEI’s ERP system, Exchange server, and additional servers with minimal disruption. The result was a smooth transition to a flash-centric infrastructure that improved application performance and supported future virtualization plans; TBEI also reported data compression from about 3TB native to 1TB, creating significant storage savings and capacity for growth.
