Milton CAT, a major North American Caterpillar dealer with a central distribution center and 13 branches, needed to overhaul its Milford facility and systems to maintain rapid parts turnaround for impatient customers and busy dealerships. The challenge was to modernize operations and support both warehousing and retail workflows—plus enable a customer self-service pickup experience—while integrating with existing ERP, conveyor and put-to-light systems.
Milton CAT selected Tecsys’ Elite WMS, which was customized and integrated into their new facility with on-site training and ongoing 24/7 support. The implementation delivered real-time inventory and order visibility, markedly improved accuracy, built-in order prioritization for waiting customers, and a kiosk-based self-service pickup that reduced wait times and generated strong positive feedback.
