Kramer Ltd., a long-standing Caterpillar dealer in Saskatchewan (now part of Finning International), faced rapid growth handling up to 500 daily orders and a 35,000-item inventory. The company needed to replace paper-based processes with a robust warehouse management system to improve labour efficiency, real-time visibility and tracking across its parts distribution network and maintain high service levels.

Kramer implemented TECSYS’ WMS for its proven dealer expertise and structured deployment, gaining RF-enabled, system-directed put-away and picking, multi-zone/wave strategies, cross-docking and a “rush-order interrupt” feature. The solution enabled 500+ orders per day processing, up to 10 orders picked in one warehouse pass, dramatically improved accuracy and inventory visibility, reduced rush-order wait times to under eight minutes, and delivered higher efficiency and customer satisfaction without adding space.
