Curry’s Art Store is a fourth-generation, Ontario-based arts and crafts supplier founded in 1911, serving professionals, schools and hobbyists through ten retail stores and an e-commerce site. With roughly 20,000 SKUs, global sourcing and highly seasonal demand (spring, back-to-school, holidays), Curry’s faced complex forecasting, purchasing and warehousing challenges that required integrated, real-time control across the business.
Curry’s implemented TECSYS PointForce Enterprise—integrating order management, forecasting, purchasing, advanced warehouse management and e‑commerce—so stores order from a centrally connected warehouse and online inventory and pricing update in real time. The solution improved forecasting and purchasing for seasonal peaks, increased picking/packing accuracy, shortened turnaround times and delivered centralized visibility and reporting that now serve as the backbone of Curry’s supply chain and operations.
