Areva, a France-based global leader in nuclear energy with 50,000 employees across more than 40 countries, needed to harmonize talent management to nurture a diverse workforce, boost retention and support international growth. The company sought an employee-centric, scalable HR solution that would align people to business goals, encourage internal mobility and meet tight deadlines and multilingual requirements (French, German, English).
Partnering with Technomedia, Areva implemented enterprise-wide performance management and succession planning on a flexible cloud platform designed to let employees lead their careers, strengthen managers’ roles, identify talent and promote mobility. Launched in three languages, the solution harmonized HR processes, achieved 95% adoption with the majority of employees creating development plans, and positioned Areva to adopt pay-for-performance and run more efficient HR operations.
