Banco Original, a Brazilian financial institution and the first fully digital bank in Latin America, wanted to create a brand-new banking experience and launch a mobile-only challenger bank from scratch. To meet this challenge, Banco Original chose Technisys and its API-centric digital banking platform, Cyberbank, to support a future-proof, customer-centric digital model with the flexibility, scalability, and speed needed to adapt to changing consumer behavior.

Technisys implemented Cyberbank Core and Cyberbank Digital to power Banco Original’s end-to-end digital banking operation, including digital onboarding, omnichannel experiences, and rapid product launches. The results were strong: Banco Original became operational within one year of vendor selection, reached over 100,000 customers in its first three months after launch, and later grew to more than 3.5 million customers, with Technisys helping the bank speed development from months to days for new products and services.
